Procurement Criteria
Do not compare suppliers by unit price alone.
A menstrual cup is a sensitive-care product. The supplier should be able to explain material selection, size logic, hardness direction, packaging components, inspection records, and which claims still require target-market verification. A low quotation without these facts creates risk for importers and brand owners.
Questions to ask before sampling
- Which existing cup structures are available, and which need development?
- What are the S/M/L dimensions, capacity references, stem style, and hardness options?
- Can the factory support color, logo, pouch, box, leaflet, and starter kit packaging?
- Which material, testing, sterilization-related, and QC records can be reviewed?
- What sample approval steps happen before artwork and mass production?
- Which claims must the buyer verify for the destination market?
Recommended RFQ message
Send target country, sales channel, cup sizes, quantity, color direction, logo placement, pouch or box requirements, instruction language, launch date, and compliance documents needed. This gives the supplier enough information to return a useful product pack instead of a generic price list.
